I have many reasons for choosing Wellesley! Over the last 2 years, I have answered this question numerous times on college confidential. Instead of repeating myself, I suggest you read the most recent “why Wellesley” thread where I answered this question.

I graduated from Wellesley a bit over a decade ago, and went on to a fellowship and then a masters at two outstanding Ivies (one beginning with the letter Y and the other starting with the letter H). I love all my alma maters and am thankful for my education at all three of these schools. Wellesley, however, had a more profound effect on my life, perhaps because I was there for 4 years, and our college years are quite formative. There is something magical about the power of a Wellesley education, and it continues after you graduate. Instead of repeating what I wrote in previous “why Wellesley” posts, I suggest you read my comment in the aforementioned link. Good luck!
