<p>Ugh, really frustrated. I can’t realistically afford to fly out to Chicago right now, but I really want to attend Wildcat Days so I can make a decision. I just called the admissions office and was told that no financial assistance is being offered for travel expenses… when a few people here have been offered that. I’d like to think that the person I spoke with just wasn’t aware and this wasn’t an outright lie.</p>
<p>I’m revisiting a few other places this month that are within driving distance, and I just feel like I won’t be giving NU a fair shot if I don’t get to have a second look at it between now and May 1st.</p>
<p>For those that were offered to have their travel expenses covered, what was the process for acquiring that money? Who were you told to contact and/or what number were you told to call?</p>
