However, being international and applying for aid will hurt you - that said, from this profile you seem like a prime candidate from HYPSM.
I would be terrified for my chances if you don’t get into Brown, Duke and Penn, but as everyone knows, no one is a match for Stanford, Harvard, Yale or MIT (unless you cure cancer, or are an 18 year old billionaire). Also, Berkeley won’t give you aid as you aren’t a resident of California, so can your parent pay 55k?
