Will Colleges use an old SAT test sent from CollegeBoard when making a decision?

For what it’s worth, for Georgetown, there is a testing info form within the portal that states, in bold, “Georgetown does not participate in Score Choice and require submission of an applicant’s entire testing record, if one is available.” If an applicant checks the box that they will not have an opportunity to test, the form asks for an explanation.

While I still wonder how they use lower scores, they do say they consider the highest. so I’d just hang onto that.

From what we were told at a Georgetown info session a couple of years ago, they look askance at more than three attempts. So I think it’s mainly that - they’re less impressed by someone with the resources to keep plugging away multiple times until they eventually get a decent score.
