Will Colleges use an old SAT test sent from CollegeBoard when making a decision?

I interpret the Georgetown policy as if you have scores, you should report them, and that the flexibility is there for those whom the pandemic has prevented from taking tests. (This is also how it was reported in the WSJ and as I recall corrected from an earlier statement by the reporter that they were test optional.)

Please note that we do not participate in Score Choice and require submission of an applicant’s entire testing record, if one is available. Students who are not able to submit scores from either test due to the COVID-19 pandemic are welcome to apply for admission to the Class of 2025 without the tests…

While the SAT Subject Tests were recommended by Georgetown in the past, we understand the inability of students to take these additional tests due to COVID-19. We recognize that many students have shifted their focus exclusively to the SAT and ACT. .

I would think that if some students from the same area and high school have been able to submit scores while others don’t, it raises questions about the reason for those who lack of scores. What I don’t know: is there any implication for not self-reporting a score when Georgetown can see that there has been one?
