Being in the second quarter of your class is a big ding against you. However, you SAT is good. Being a review applicant, it is impossible to say yes or no for certainty, because none of us will ever see your complete file.
Here are a few post breakdowns from last year. While they are not the whole story, it can be a guide to who is offered what. Applications opened July 1 but applying early does not affect most review applicants. That said, you can apply and you can anytime before the deadline and still submit updated SAT/ACT scores until Dec.8.
That said, make the most of your essays. Tell your unique story. Don’t tell them what you think they want to hear. Course rigor also can factor in and how college ready the consider you to be. Apply to some safety schools as well. Safety in not only getting in but being able to pay for it. If you are admitted or get Blinn Team, A&M won’t give you any merit aid or scholarship (you could apply to some that are through A&M but not from the school itself) so it would have to come from you and the government will only give you $5500 for your first year. You would have to come up with the remaining 20K.
