Will taking harder courses as a psych major increase my chances of being accepted as a transfer student?

As a UC transfer applicant, transfer GPA and completion of the major related (Cognitive Science/Psych) and GE requirements will be important. Taking difficult courses not required for transfer will not make you a better transfer applicant but just a goood overall student so unlikely to increase your chances.
