Yes, there are a lot of cases. It’s pretty standard, unless they’re in a nice mood. But then you pretty much have to complete in summer, with usually like a B grade. I’m not sure I have ever heard of a D in a major prep course getting in without some prior retake.
That’s why you REALLY need to retake that course.
