In the front page of my official transcript, it lists the grade point I get in every course. Then in the back page there is a Grade Point to Alphabet Grade equivalency table, like it is a reference for anyone who reads the transcript. I got a 1.5 in Calculus 4, and according to the table it is a C-. But the UCLA officer says that 1.5 is treated as a D. She also says that only above or equal to 2.0 is a C.
So two questions. First, should a C- be counted as a C or a D? Second, is it right for the officer to use the UCLA grading standard to evaluate my grade (1.5 is a D+ in UCLA’s grading)?
