<p>OK, then, what do you think. Son is applying to Viterbi for CS. He took the Math 2 and Physics SAT subject tests. Got 700 on each. Did not send earlier, since the scores weren’t “that good”. Maybe OK for another college, but possibly a negative for Viterbi. (He’s not a standardized-test wiz, much stronger in GPA, ECs, etc. He has two As from Stanford EPGY CS classes, for example.)</p>
<p>So, send the SAT II scores (now, late) or not? Everything I’ve read has said “send if over 700, not if lower” - but they are both exactly 700!!</p>
<p>Somehow I’m thinking that he shouldn’t rock the boat, it might take their attention off the other, more positive points on his application. He has no idea whether it would be a plus or not. Or maybe not even having any (optional) SAT II scores would look worse?</p>
