<p>I don’t have any numbers to back it up, but I can’t imagine that it’s helping to have a new student center still a few years away and a giant hole in the middle of campus. I know when I visited as a prefrosh a few years back the view of Baxter lawn surrounded by Chapin, Baxter, Sawyer, etc. with the mountains around it was one of those things that made me fall in love with the school. Not to say that a construction project would affect numbers that dramatically, but it is one deterrent.</p>
