<p>Seeing this thread come up made me realize we haven’t heard from its originator in awhile. Mollie, are you out there? What’s new in the world of the newlyweds?</p>
<p>My herbs grow pretty well in partial sun. (Two oaks in our front yard.) I’ve got thyme, chives, sage, oregano permanently and I put in basil every year. Basil does better in sunnier spots of the garden, but the rest don’t seem to mind.</p>

<p>Newlywed life is great, although admittedly not much different from pre-newlywed life for us. 
We both just came through a really busy time at school/work (a big proposal due for him, and my PhD qualifying exam), and it’s going to be nice to have a little less stress in our lives, at least for a little bit.</p>
<p>Admittedly off topic, but since you live in Cambridge, where would you suggest we make a dinner reservation for son’s graduation in May? Sorta mainstream tastes. Thanks.</p>
