Withdrawing Applications

AudreyH,

Don’t be stressed out. I am sure NYU gives you reasonable time to contact the schools you have applied to. But good news!

I found out the official way for you to withdraw (if you have not gotten this info yourself) from all three UCs with one letter. Forget about faxing though you can do so wih UC Berkeley.

I know it is difficult to wait long periods on the phone when you are out of the country.

I got through and was told all you should do is send one letter to:

U C Undergraduate Application Processing Service,
P.O. Box 4010,
Concord, CA. 94524-4010.

In the letter to them, be sure to include:

 1. Your Full Name
 2. Your Applicant ID #
 3. Your DOB
 4. Your request to withdraw your undergraduate application and the names of the three campuses.
 5. Your original signature.

The letter can be sent to them via regular mail.

I spoke to the UC Undergrad Appl Processing Service directly and they are the central office which will take care of forwarding your withdrawal request to the three campuses you name.

Hope this helps and alleviates your anxiety.
