<p>This story is sad, but I think it’s a sad reality of our downward economy. Foreclosure rates are bad, but people need to realize that they can’t keep spending themselves into debt. It scares me if the insurance company pays because it may open the door to more unstable people doing this.</p>
<p>she couldn’t have been completely sane to begin with. She probably had some other problems, and this one just topped them all off, causing her to go nuts and kill herself. Although I must say that I think she was a little hasty in her decision to do so. There is always life after a foreclosure, even if it really sucks. Anyway, I guess she died for a good cause…I think. Now everyone knows that something’s wrong with the whole system of foreclosures.</p>

<p>This wasn’t the case of someone living in a $500,000 home on a $50,000 salary. The picture in the article was of a moderately-priced ranch house. While I don’t know the particulars of this woman’s situation nor her mental state, foreclosure can happen to anyone. A job loss, medical condition or any number of dire situations can lead to it. I get tired of reading that it just happens to greedy people who live beyond their means. It just isn’t true in a lot of cases.</p>
