<p>I, too, tend to just be happy to get to destination safely and without delay, and put up with most issues with passengers and other things. I don’t think I’ve ever had a problem where I’ve called the steward/ess. Yes, I’ve seen those who don’t fit in one seat, and even more those whose luggage do not fit in the overhead compartments or who have taken on more than their share many,many times.</p>
<p>Last time I flew, the guy in the middle was probably 6-5’ and BIG-not even remotely obese but just VERY big. Obviously he should not be expected to buy an extra ticket- it’s not his fault that he is so tall. I was on the aisle and finally switched with him as his body just really didn’t fit the space. I did not want to give up my aisle seat, but in the end, we were all better off. Very frustrating!</p>
