<p>This woman is an enemy of her own sex and a racist bigot. If I am not mistaken, she has also expressed some shockingly homophobic opinions in the past.</p>

<p>I’d just like to say that while this woman is a ridiculous idiot, there are Republicans who are not bigoted individuals. By stereotyping and generalizing about all the members of one political party, you’re participating in the same dangerous ways of thinking which engender racism, sexism, and homophobia.</p>

<p>I wholeheartedly agree with quomodo. As a Republican who is also a female and minority, I would hope that people who read this understand that this woman is an outlier and a bigot, not that we Republicans are radical bigots. Mrs. Kern may be both racist and sexist, but her misplaced and offensive views are not remotely representative of the GOP as a whole.</p>
