<p>Afterwards, there’s nothing like reading a cookie-cutter essay with implications that the admissions committee actually reviewed your application in detail and had trouble rejecting you. It’s insulting, really… I’d just prefer a one-sentence rejection, /or/ something like, “Sorry, your application was not up to our standards. Work harder.”</p>
