Would I have a shot next year ?

youz a ho bro

So do you think JHU is worth giving up a big scholarship at Union ?

Well JHU isn’t a guarantee right, you haven’t even been admitted there yet?

Yeah, JHU is not a guarantee. I have not been admitted there yet.

That’s why I ask whether JHU is worth risking a big scholarship ?

No, odds are you won’t get into Hopkins. 20% get in, 80% don’t.

even when Hopkins’ education will prepare me well for grad school, especially in the field of biology ?

do you guys think a hope at Hopkins worth the risk ?

^^No - if you have an opportunity now, take it.

I would risk everything on getting into JHU next year - they take like 15-20% of an amazing applicant pool.

You think so ? Basically, I got into Union College in NY as a Scholar (their honor program).

So I don’t know if I should take this chance or forgo it and aim for JHU next year (my only support to go for JHU next year is that I received a lab position at an active and intense. I think that I will be able to boost up my profile a bit with this internship and a letter of recommendation)

go to Union.
