Would it be hard to take a 5-week Cal II class?

I took Calc 2 as a summer course(6 week) as an engineering major and have been fine. I’ll be a senior civil major this fall and don’t feel like I’ve had a weakness in calc 2 in any classes. I will say however that I spent a good 4-5 hours a day working on homework/examples during the 6 week period.

Is it wise to take Calculus III during a 6 week summer course…?

"MATH 230: CALCULUS AND VECTOR ANALYSIS ( 4) Three-dimensional analytic geometry; vectors in space; partial differentiation; double and triple integrals; integral vector calculus.‘’

I will have to take Algebra&Trig in my first sem this fall, so Cal I in the spring, Cal II in fall, O&P Differential Eqs. in spring (I guess u could call it Cal IV), and finally Cal III in the in the summer.

in my school they only offer Cal III in the fall and Diff Eqs in the spring, besides i don’t think i can take both of them together.

sorry to kinda hijack this thread, but I have a question. I’ve taken calc I and I’ve self studied most of the concepts in calc II. (i took ap calc ab and self studied calc bc). Is it possible to skip calc II and take calc III in the fall? You don’t use many series concepts right? Mainly the integration techniques and the exposure to the other coordinate systems? I’ll also be taking Linear Algebra this summer, not sure if that will help though.

help please…

thanks

i’m taking cal 3 during a 5 week period this summer and i think it’s fine. lots of people do it and learn the material without any problems
