Would you be happy attending...

No. What is it only 8 total AP credits accepted? And Biology is eight credits. No, I’d rather use all my AP credits and enter as a sophomore somewhere else

Baylor?

Nope.

Trinity College (CT)?

No. It was on my list, and then I visited… seems more into athletics than I wanted (which is saying a lot since I think it’s DIII), also, Hartford is terrifying. I don’t remember being particularly impressed by the info session.

Not applying to it this year, (I did last year though) - University of Rochester?

Yes. From what I’ve researched and learned from info sessions, I could really like that school.

Johns Hopkins?

No. I’m not fond of Baltimore, and I’ve heard the the student environment is too competitive/pre-med.

Brown University?

No thanks…

Duke University?

I love the undergrad focus, but I’m interested in biomedical research opportunities, so I wish they had a med school like…

Harvard?

of course unconventional MIT applicant

University of Texas at Austin?

yes! if only they would offer some sort of scholarship, which I know is kind of rare for a school of that size. But otherwise it’s very idea.

University of Oklahoma?

Not really, no.

Ohio State University

No, prefer a smaller focused school.

JHU?

Nah, seems like too much of a medical/STEM focus for me.

Ohio University?

Nooo. WAY too big and not in the northeast.

Bennington?

Not enough STEM for me.

Dartmouth?

Yes; it was tied with Yale and Chicago for me before the letters started rolling in.

Cornell?

A definite yes! I really admire their open curriculum and collaborative environment :)

Skidmore College

Eeeehhh… I’m applying there as a safety/low match school; I like its artsy, chill vibe, but I’m not a huge fan of the actual campus, and I feel like I’d want to go somewhere more academically rigorous.

On the theme of alternative colleges… Hampshire?

Probably not.

University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee?

Probably not.

Rutgers- New Brunswick?

Nope, hate the AP policy.

Clemson University?
