UVA yes – beautiful campus, nice size.

Seton Hall

TCNJ (the College of NJ)

University of Chicago?

for econ, DEFINITELY!

wash u, michigan or northwestern?

<–reference is to Univ. of Chicago, here. Excellent school–academic and intellectual–but eschews the athletic–a problem for some academic, sport-minded students.

Wash U., Michigan, Northwestern, all excellent, academically. Michigan probably has the least obnoxious student body of the three.

Tufts, anyone?

No, too sporty.

Brandeis??

That’s from Tuesdays with Morrie! But no, too liberal art-sy.

Tennessee

What’s Tuesdays with Morrie?

And no, I don’t want to go to a red state.

Deep Springs

USC

Yes, amazing school!

Barnard College

UC santa cruz

Too Cali for me…

Oberlin

nope. just not a LAC guy personally, though i respect them a lot.

middlebury college?

middlebury college: No, I’m not into LACs.

Boston College or Boston University?

BU. I don’t want to go somewhere with a religious affiliation.

MIT or Caltech?

MIT – yes, CalTech – no. This is mainly because while MIT consists of an innovative relatively well-rounded decent-sized student body, CalTech is just a small community of cutthroat academics. It lacks all the necessary softening aspects that MIT has.

Stanford University

^ Duh. Sorry if it’s a hard one for you because you’re a Berkeley student.

LSU

Nah; not too keen on Louisiana
