Would you join Celibacy Club?

it seems weird to me to have a club about not doing something rather than the other way around, since most clubs revolve around activities or hobbies. like what do they talk about, how they’re not having sex? my version of what goes on:

“Hi everyone, my name is Samantha and last Tuesday I went to biology lab, had lunch with the girls, went to statistics, wrote my history paper, had dinner, caught a movie, and then didn’t have sex!”

"Wow Samantha, same here - no sex! "

“Hey, me neither!”

“Gee, let’s play scrabble!”

“guys, let’s not have sex tomorrow either!”

This is kind of creepy and more than kind of weird.

It’s a personal issue. Why would you need to join a club about it?

The first rule of Celibacy Club is: You do not talk about Celibacy Club.

And be fair, guys – college organizations for African-Americans or Jews or GLBT don’t just sit around and talk about how black or Jewish or gay they are. Whatever it is a celibacy club does, you can be pretty sure they’re not just sitting around talking about not having sex.

Is that another name for Engineering Society?

lol… jk, jk
