Would you rather attend...

Bowdoin, I think I know where it is.

This has probably been done before–but-- UVa or VT?

UVa. Higher girl-to-guy ration and one of the south’s best computer sciences programs, not to mention that the Virginia Tech massacre unfortunately imprinted a bad image of the university in my head. Albeit I do like the nerdy student body of tech schools like Virginia Tech or Georgia Tech.

So… University of Hawaii at Manoa or University of Pennsylvania?

Is that a joke? UPenn.

Brown or UNC?

UNC – nothing could be finer . . .

VCU or George Mason

George Mason, purely based on the fact that my mascot was the Rams in highschool, and I don’t want to be a ram again

Bodwoin or Cornell?

Considering a low SAT score of 1900, which is better?

UChicago or UPenn

Laval, since I visited and loved it there!

Colgate or Hamilton?

Since both schools are relatively similar, I’ll take Colgate for the prestige

Bodwoin or Cornell?

Oooh, I would have such a hard time because I really, really like Bowdoin, but Cornell is so much better for CS… Probably Bowdoin though.

Brown or Dartmouth?

Brown - I visited Dartmouth and got a really pretentious vibe from it. It was like some sort of elite country club for lumberjacks in the middle of nowhere.

Pomona or Claremont McKenna?

Pomona, but I’d be find going to either one since I could utilize both schools

Middlebury or NYU?

Middlebury

UIUC vs. UT-Austin (I chanced for both schools quite a lot)

Texas for sure; Austin is awesome

Duke full ride or Yale?

Duke with a full ride. Yale is a great school, but I don’t think there is a big enough gap between them to turn down a full ride to Duke. Plus, in my intended major (engineering), Duke is arguably stronger.

Case Western or UCLA?

UCLA

NYU vs. U Michigan

NYU; great film school, great city, beautiful people

Chicago or Dartmouth?

U Chicago; better physics PhD (not sure Dartmouth’s one is that great, if any)

U Virginia vs. UCLA

UVA looks awesome. I kind of wish I applied.

Rice vs. Emory

Rice, I’ve heard from several sources that while Emory is a good school, many of its programs are a bit overrated.

Brandeis vs. Trinity

Trinity; Brandeis is probably a little too strange for me (but then again, Trinity is probably not strange enough)

Tufts or Johns Hopkins?
