At my school, calc AB is a two-period class, all year long. The teacher, however, is pretty awesome and teaches a HUGE amount of material that isn’t in normally in AB (Taylor Series, Multivariable, lots of matrices/linear algebra.)
I really don’t know why they call it Calc AB.
Oh, and the mean AP score for the class is 4.80, which is quite impressive considering it’s a public school.

Nah. Some people will always have the advantage over others.
For those who don’t have that kind of curriculum, study plenty and you’ll still do fine x)

At my high school, the 3-year english curriculum through 9th-11th grades has the students reading the majority of books that are on the AP literature exam. It isn’t cheating at all, but just preparation. To be fair, someone who self-studied could start preparing in 9th grade and take it senior year.

our school is the same as cod4pro. we don’t have the same teacher all 3 years but the curriculum is designed to cover books that we will need for lang/lit (mostly lit)

I don’t think it’s cheating. There’s no set “honors” curriculum and if he/she has 90% passing, more power to him/her.
