Would you use an iPad as your only computer?

I just have to make a plug for my Samsung galaxy 10. Apples are cool ( I had an apple iic in 1984), and tablets are cool, (especially pc tablets), and iPads are cool, but after a year of test driving my husbands, I decided on the galaxy , so I can save a few bucks (and use simcard) while I wait for the “real deal”. I was forced to make a choice when the hubs needed “his” iPad back, when his group released an emr app. I notice he still uses his pc.

I love my iPad… but it definitely doesn’t replace my laptop.

You know, Xiggi, that it’s August 2012 and that experience with a brand new product in April 2010 don’t mean much today? That things have changed? The iPad was introduced in March 2010, so taking your date as correct that means you’re describing apps available when there weren’t many and when the category had existed for a month. Things have changed. I noted a bunch of apps for music. None of those existed in 2010.

SOME things have undoubtably changed, but there still are a heck of a lot of devices & programs available for PCs & a somewhat more compact universe for Apple-type products & devices, even though apps for iPad and non-iPad devices have grown.

Lergnom, things might have changed, but the main reasons why the project was such a disaster probably still exist today.
