Sorry, you won’t get much sympathy from me here. You made a decision and now must accept the consequences. When you wrote the essay, you knew - or should have known - that this was a possible outcome. You went ahead with it. You acted as dishonestly as your friend. I hope you’ve learned a lesson from this and won’t make this mistake again.
