With that in mind, I think all the WSJ report really shows is how, after the very very top schools (Harvard, Princeton, etc.), there is a lot of clustering. Dartmouth, Columbia, Chicago, Brown, Penn etc. are all clustered together pretty tightly. * This shows that, at any top 10-15 school, one’s performance matters more than anything else. *
