In our neighborhood someone posted a photo of a large Suburban (no tag, just the car) in the neighborhood facebook group, that was parked in front of a hydrant, facing the wrong way (against traffic) and on a blind spot at the top of a hill, to see if anyone knew whose car it was and warn them to move it so they wouldn’t be ticketed or possibly cause an accident at the blind spot on the hill crest. It seemed to me that they genuinely meant to help, but others came down on the person for being a busy body and trying to shame the driver. Public shaming isn’t usually well received.
