Yale 2015 SCEA Hopefuls

Yeah, I found a type in my essay I send. It’s not major–I doubt they’ll catch it.

I just used the word “compliment” when I should have typed “complement.”
Meh.

^You never know, Owlehn. That’s something they might not even catch.

Honestly, the admissions committee probably spends less than 15 minutes total on any single application. A small mistake on your essay isn’t anything to worry about.

Less than a month to go!

This time in four weeks, we will know our decisions.

.___.

“Your decision will be available at this website on March 1, 2011.”

That’s what my Eli account says. Isn’t it supposed to be December 15th? gulp I’m worried now.

You’re almost right on the mark MrMeursalt. I read somewhere that an adcom mentioned it’s 20 miniutes per application.

I spelled my dad’s workplace wrong in the Family portion of the Common App. :stuck_out_tongue: I know it’s not a big deal, but it bugs me somehow.

@Kaira07 - Mine says the same.

@kaira and fabregas- Huh? My ELI a/c doesn’t even say anything about my decision. Guess you guys are better off innit?
Could you tell me where it says that please?

Don’t worry pixie. Follow the link provided in your initial e-mail from Yale - providing info on the Eli account - and you will see what we saw.

^I still don’t see it. Do you mean [Freshman Application Process | Yale College Admissions](First-Year Application Process | Yale College Undergraduate Admissions) or <a href=“Application Management”>Application Management; I don’t see it on either :frowning: It just gives me my regular application status page. Do you think it is because I haven’t submitted my SAT 2 scores yet so that my application is not officially complete yet? Could any of you post an image of a page showing that statement?

Sign In on the second link you’ve posted above.

True, the application I submitted Nov 1st looks like amateur work to me now. Tbh, I think it would have been a better idea to just apply regular since early action doesn’t provide much of an edge, if any. I’m just waiting on my deferral/rejection come Dec 15th :(

Oh, okay fabregas! Even my link says March 1.
Guess it’s just a system error since my ELI a/c says Early Decision so I’m not worried.

I just noticed my blatant error.
Early Action I mean.
How could I ever make such an error? I attribute it to my sleep deprived state.

does anyone who submitted a supplemental rec see anything about it on their app status page?

^It says that they don’t provide updates for supplements.

SO SCARED.

Can someone go take a look at the thread I started about submitting a resume?

Any reflection on how interviews have been so far? Especially in Asian countries?
