Still time to finish aid application

from https://finaid.yale.edu/applying-aid/prospective-new-students#deadlines

Financial Aid Deadlines
Regular Decision: March 1, 2019

If you miss the deadline, your provisional award information may arrive after your admissions decision. However, you are still eligible to apply for financial aid, and your award will not be reduced because of late submission. Please submit all documents as soon as possible; the more quickly you complete your file, the sooner you will receive your provisional financial aid decision.

If someone wants to start a new thread for RD Applicant stats I’ll post my full breakdown but here’s just the score info

Waitlisted ? was expecting a flat-out rejection

Rejected after being deferred SCEA:( expected it honestly. For any of you who have seen me bouncing around these threads, I was accepted to Columbia, U Chicago (w/ merit scholarships), Amherst (w/ 25k to do research), and JHU so those are my current options. I hope it works out for all of you other people who didn’t get in, and to those who did, CONGRATS!!!

Did everyone get an email about their decision being available?

Well, I got an email for decision update, but was flat out rejected ?

Accepted!
35, 1530
800 math2, 740 chem, 740 m bio
Recs/interviews were awesome
Essays were pretty dope too

Congratulations to everyone accepted!

Someone should make a Yale 2023 RD decisions forum so that way people who got accepted can post their stats. People already made some for the other Ivies so might as well do the same.

Congratulations to ALL applicants - accepted, waitlisted or rejected. Despite its efforts to increase class size through the creation of two new residential colleges, there is very limited space for first years and transfers. So be proud of yourselves and enjoy your college experience - wherever you land. Best of luck!

Rejected

Hello I am native American out of state student
I am super excited I got in here, congrats to everyone, FIRST GENERATION YAY!
I also got into Harvard which one is better?
(I got duke, U Mich, UCLA and NYU Shanghai I dont speak chinese)
Hoping Standford
Best lucks and blessing

Congrats, all great choices. Go to the admitted student days for both schools and then go with your gut.

@BKSquared I will have to speak with my father and the rest of the tribe but I am hoping to visit! Maybe I will see you there?

@SiouxPride Congrats on your acceptances. The decision between H and Y can be very personal as the two schools are different (e.g., location, atmosphere, etc). You can’t go wrong…as indicated above, go with your gut.

@casevee Congratulations!!! To the previous poster who had incomplete financial aid forms, It’s ok. We had the same thing happen. Call the office and ask for specifics. It’s not too late!

Hey guys a Yale RD results forum for class of 2023 has been posted up! So if you want to share your accepted stats and inspire other people feel free to do so!
