suspense is killing me. possible international student enrollment will be down and american student’s odds go up?
What? No… It is very insensitive to rely on a pandemic to take advantage of the “Accident of birth”. Also, I could expect this from a few Universities, but never Yale!
They’re still trying to construct a diverse class, so I would suspect that if anything, they would accept more international students in hopes that a similar number would enroll as in previous classes. But I also believe that they made the majority of decisions before the COVID-19 outbreak, and will adjust by going to their waitlist when necessary
If anyone is super anxious, I suggest looking over your application and seeing how good it is! You took your best shot and everything will work out and you will end up where you are supposed to be : )
