<p>Haha… Yale won’t give you any financial aid : ). Not true. My family rolls in slightly more than $100,000 and Yale’s financial aid covered roughly 80% of COA.</p>
<p>I won’t lie. Your chances are slimmer than some, but apply anyway. You never know what will happen and Yale may be looking for people who are strong in debate. </p>
<p>Your stats are at the lower end, but they will not kill you in the holistic approach. </p>
<p>And I just saw you are a double legacy, which means you actually have a very good chance with your decent stats. </p>
<p>Finally, did you by any chance go to Glenbrooks, Harvard, or NFL Nats in student congress… I was a semi-finalist at each ( by the way I also do extemp, but only in my state!)</p>
