I’m legitimately concerned that it’s a fake site and someone just stole my account info and will use it to mess with me. Should I be concerned about this? What should I do??
Honestly, CHILL. Some of you are making others feel anxious for no reason. This is Yale that we are talking about. A top world college, where geniuses go. If they let a loose string dangle, the portal in this case, then that is very sad on their part. Just wait until 5 and you will know for sure.
Long time stalker and seldom commentor… I would not read much into the portal statement. The portal was saying this error message prior to today.

Yale should be smart enough to know that “hey, there is a portal”. They know what they are doing, trust them, and dont get the food from the horses sh**, get it from the mouth.
If someone else with >200 posts confirms that it’s real, I’ll believe it. Otherwise, no reason to get anxious and believe something posted by users with <20 posts.
This is real. I visited the Facebook group and the bulldog days sign up. It’s for real.

No, you misunderstand me. I’m not concerned about what it does or does not say. I’m concerned that it’s a complete fake and that someone has our passwords to access our portals and will you them to malicious ends.

Mine says “this portal is for admitted students only”… It’s been real, you guys.
It’s a link on Yale’s official portal. The URL naming syntax follows all their other URLs. I just don’t think they meant for that URL to be publicly available until 5. Don’t be surprised that after someone calls the Admissions Office, it suddenly disappears until later this afternoon.

I suggest we all calm down.
We only have to wait for two more hours. It’s nothing compared to a month and a half that has already gone by.
So we should all just relax, get our minds off Yale, and do something else until 5 PM.
@ccstudent101 do you know if the page was right? Like if people got the “welcome to class of ___” did they actually end up as accepted students and vice versa?
Hey you guys! I’ve been reading this page for the past month and decided to join 
I called Yale and when I started bringing up the admitted student portal she interrupted me and said, “Nothing has been released” which made it seem like she already was aware kids would try it. Not the nicest lady but she got her point across. I have the same access denied page though so I am not too hopeful right now 
@freenfly I can understand your concern because the portal isn’t even letting me log in and I tried 50 times. But I’m just gonna believe that Yale has a reason for all this.
