Can someone summarize what people are looking for and what it means?
Lol, it’s hard to summarize, too many astrological predictions going on here…. ![]()
Lol that’s the vibe I’m getting…… I was hoping there was a quick explanation but my kid didn’t even get an interview so I think it’s probably not even with playing portal astrology ![]()
I don’t have them either, I wait for DS to get back from school and if he’s had a good day, he might reluctantly login and let me see the portal.
I actually checked one of her decision on one of the school and she did get in but she was not happy I did it . From then on she has told us she will let us know the decisions when they will come out but is still try.
not urban legend
That’s good to know. Again, basic common sense is key. So, is slate.org a legitimate site?
Hi! My DD got an interview request today! I guess you are on the same boat or “bubble”. Good luck!
I keep hoping that happens over here! Congrats to your daughter and good luck on the interview!!
Yes, it is. I work at a university and we use Slate to review applications.
I registered slate. It is marked as completed. That might be bad since now it is still a few weeks away from 30th. I don’t know when it was marked like that though since I just registered.
Completed doesn’t mean the admission decision is completed…it means the APPLICANT has completed their application/submitted all materials. When an AO makes a decision, the Slate status says, “Decided.” not completed.
So Yale emailed you about this form? or was it IDOC that emailed you?
are you able to see the other schools that an applicant has applied to?
Thank you. For us, it says “Decided” for Yale(on slate). Is that because we are ED deferred? I thought ED deferred ones are considered un-decided until a decision has been made in the RD round. Your input is appreciated. Thank you.
I’ll go a step further: “You’ll be rejected” will be correct 95% of the time :^)
I haven’t opened any of my portals since setting them up (besides the schools that have already given me decisions). Every day I’m increasingly glad I made that choice.
That seems to be the case, yeah
