er, Who’s been here the longest? I didn’t join until September of this year, so I don’t qualify to be the “official thread starter” haha

isn’t there some crazy html-y format. i am technologically inept, so i’ll leave it to someone else.

wrathofgod64’s right. i’ve been told by a current undergrad that they’ll be available thursday afternoon once we all get home from school

jli2006- although these statistics are for C/O 2008, there were 671 initial EA admits, thus yielding a 16.9% admit rate, but because 249 of the 1,735 EA applicants that were deferred got accepted, a total 920 were admitted from the original EA pool of 3,965, for an overall admit rate of 23.2%…i couldn’t find last year’s results, but i know that of the 4,065 students applying this year, there are bound to be a few “incompletes” or “withdrawns” netted out before Dec. 1, which is awfully close to the 3,965 applicants for 2008…i’d expect around a 16% initial EA admit rate (634-650) and a 22% overall admit rate (872-894)

i wanna make the official result page!
unless someone else really really really wants to do it… I think we should all agree on a format before then.

I got this from the guy last year

If you are one of the 106 on the EA roster (only them), please put EA Roster and your number on the bottom. Then we can keep an accurate result thread not influenced by non-posters of deferrals/rejections.

So let me try it: hahahaha

I really like archjma’s statistics. :)

And, wrathofgod64, I nominate you for “maker of the official result page.” In the spirit of parliamentary procedure, I hope that there will be a second. Any other nominations should be announced in this thread. I also motion that “M.O.T.O.R.P.” nominations end at midnight between Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10.

After that, we can have an election (in the case of more than one candidate). I totally just out-dorked myself. Whatever.

Hahahaha.

Oh man. I don’t want results to come. :-X

Oh wow. I bet if you invented a new kind of cheese you would totally get accepted. At least, I’d admit you if I were dean of admissions. I love cheese.

geez… already gearing up for the real deal… huh? ;)

I, um…make good cheesecake? The dean of admissions needs to admit me.

I don’t like cheesecake. It’s too weird.

I love the random tangents this board takes. On an unrelated not, I have decided this next week will be the slowest week ever.

you don’t like cheesecake because you’ve never been to juniors. thatll turn you right around.

Let’s not even talk about starting a result page yet. Give it until at least the beginning of next week.

Lemonjello:

Do you have a fondness for lemon jello, or is there some other significance?

Hmm, whoever gets post 1000 on this thread is probably automatically rejected…

i don’t love juniors actually, but i love cheesecake.

time is really flying… i remember looking at the countdown and it being like 23 days, and now its only nine…
by the way, to everyone who has to play a concert on decision day, i just realized that i do too. i thought it was the next day! so i’m rushing home to check and then i’m coming back in time for the concert, and either way i won’t be able to pay attention. boo.

I have a concert, too.

And, hopefully, I’m not post 1000.
