The ranking should reflect total impact, based on the # of papers with respect to relative impact. The way it’s currently ranked, the total # of papers doesn’t affect the ranking at all. And besides, the quality of engineering programs is about more than the number of citations a paper gets. USNEWS, despite all its flaws, is a much more accurate and composite ranking than this.</p>
