<p>If you’re not offered an interview, it means there weren’t enough alumnis in your area, which means that they won’t hold it against you.</p>
<p>On the other hand, if you ARE offered an interview, and either choose not to do it or don’t respond back etc, it’s definitely a negative.</p>
