Interesting indeed.
Maybe it’s because he has, what, 8 years of undergraduate experience…Lol.

wait a moment, so some people actually lie about their GRADES and colleges don’t find out most of the time??!?

LOLOLOLOLOL!!!

Lying on grades!!! hahaha, and people spazz about lying on ECs and ethnicity.

Wow, lying on grades? Can you imagine how much easier that would make life if you got away with that? haha, wow…

Eww why would you want to transfer to Yale? Columbia is 100x better.

I bet there are ways to lie about SAT scores too.

*The image that Maharaj projected at Yale, as a confident 21-year-old, began to unravel at the end of last spring, when his boyfriend confronted him about his real age *

I have a lot of gay friends, so it didn’t jump out at me.

I think Northstarmom is from Harvard. If not, probably Yale. By the way, that was a joke. No hard feelings if I happened to guess right.

Yes, I’m a Harvard alum, who was a student there when the gay rights movement was beginning. Since I was an undegrad, at least 2 classmates have switched genders, including one who spoke a few years ago at reunion about his experience becoming a woman.

Harvard encourages its students and alum to be welcoming of the diversity that exists in the human race. I have friends across all spectra including secual orientations.

My best friend from Harvard is a gay woman whose partner is a professor at a top 15 LAC.

Interesting. Aren’t most schools these days welcoming a diverse environment considering sexual orientation, or are some schools still very conservative about this?

I think Yale will get over it. If anything this gets them more attention.

Yeah I don’t really know anyone that’s gay, so I guess that’s why it jumped out at me.

burnitblue, ■■■■■!

He’s not being charged for lying about his EC’s, he’s being charged for lying about going to Columbia i believe. I didn’t read the article, this is a guess from the responses.

read the article lol
