Guys everyone gets an SID if they apply for finaid. only people that forgot to submit docs get it in the email. It means nothing.
Having one in the portal could, idk about that this is the first I’ve ever heard of it

Everyone who showed interest for FA but didn’t submit all the required FA got an email with SID. That seems consistent but having the SID in personal information page is not consistent at all atleast from the information we have seen in this forum. We can keep talking about it all day without a conclusion. So, lets wait till tomorrow. Good luck!

Y’all, Yale has been in the admissions game for decades. They know not to slip up like this and put student ID numbers ahead of time for accepted students; what would be the point of withholding status updates until a certain time/date? Don’t buy into portal astrology because Yale knows what they’re doing and are familiar with the anger/fear over admissions

So…has anyone received any FedEx notifications yet about an inbound package from New Haven? Thought those were showing up on the morning of decision day in prior years? Maybe the admission office decided to send them a day or two later this year to avoid spoiling the surprise?
