LMAO at Oxbridge having “maids” and students leading a “pampered” life. Students pay $200 per term ($600 per year) for cleaning services which basically means; once a week, someone will come and collect your trash (after you leave it outside your door for them) and once a month, someone will hoover your carpet in your room. That’s pathetic, as usually its students who need the money who ask for these jobs from the colleges and as students, they don’t care and just do terrible jobs on the whole (but there is no other alternative).

In addition, the schools have been so financially constrained, even bathroom cleaning (the bathrooms are communal and are used by all to bathe obviously), are only cleaned once a week whereas they were cleaned every 3 days prior.

You have to remember, Oxford and Cambridge COMBINED have an endowment level which is dwarfed by just one single Ivy - Oxbridge combined has an endowment of $3 billion, the US wipes the floor with Oxbridge frankly.

Given the extra cut in funding they’ve received from the government, their struggling to even keep teachers on board, so I have no idea how you think they have enough money to “pamper” students of any kind
