For example, last year Yale created an elaborate internal Facebook-type site just for its early admittees. Those students had four months to bond with each other, as well as with current students and, I think, faculty who were on the site to answer their questions and just to chat. And bond they did. The 80% yield rate for SCEA admittees attests to that.</p>
