Joining the chat from So Cal. I’m so thankful I’m on spring break today, because the last time I received a program rejection email, I was in class, and let’s just say I was unable to pay attention for the remainder of the period…
The stats I’ve read so far look impressive, and I hope you all receive exciting news. However, if you don’t, please don’t let it define your self worth. As previously mentioned, I’ve already received one summer program rejection, and even though it stung a lot at first, it was definitely not the end of the world. The fact that you took the time to sit down and complete the application is amazing within itself, and it goes to show that you have more initiative than many of your fellow peers. I’m sure that even if you don’t get in, you’ll be able to find an equally incredible way to spend your summer.
With all that being said, I would like to wish you all the best of luck! I’ve got my fingers crossed for every single one of you, and even though I’ll be bummed if I don’t get in, I’ll be happy to know someone felt the joy and satisfaction I was unable to.
@thegoldenage thanks so much!!! good luck to you too
