<p>What should not be lost sight of, however, is that a higher fraction of the class is likely to be filled from the early pool this year than ever before in Yale’s history.</p>

<p>The Class of 2009 has a target size of 1,305.</p>
<p>There wre 704 EA admits.</p>
<p>If the yield on EA admits is the same as last year, 620 will enroll.</p>
<p>This means that a record 47.5% of the Class of 2009 will have been filled from the early pool.</p>
