The CONSITUTION OF SWITZERLAND WAS INTRODUCED SLOWLY. LEARN YOUR HISTORY. <p>How is representational used improperly? Our senatorial system, congressional, presedential system are all from the PEOPLE. The senators REPRESENT the people because they are VOTED by them as with congress and the president.</p>

<p>I’ll give you a little more history lesson on your “representational democracy” (the correct term is “representative democracy”</p>
<p>Our US Senate originally was NOT elected by the people according to the US Constitution as it was originally implemented.
