Wow! I can’t believe how many you all get. I get at most 2 per day on the landline and only rarely (once a month?) on my cell phone.
My area code is very very very rural. The only “big” city has a population of about 100,000. Would that be a factor?
DH only answers his cellphone if the caller is in his address book. I have elderly parents and feel obligated to answer each call… then block if it’s the inevitable nuisance (Rachel with card holder services, offers for medical insurance, etc)
MY H just edited his voicemail message ’ Hello…please leave a message after the tone’ the pause between ‘hello’ and ‘please’ is very extended (and very annoying if you are a legitimate caller) however, it has decreased the number of spam calls he receives each day.
