driver, no its not sophmoric, Bush’s actions are…you think its okay he massages a woman who has to physically push himj away, and that he has such little respect for a leader of a nation? That he is planning foriegn diplomocy in such a manner, making fun of world leaders, that when asked to talk about israel and the current conflict, he just wants to talk about pigs? There is a major crisis going on and he wants to kid around…whilepeople are dying and people inthe world are looking to him for guidance and to see what America plans to do, and he wants to discuss his dinner…his disdain for what is important shows up, and yet we are to ignore it? Kerry goes windsurfing, and its all over the news for weeks, and yet we are to ignore the actions of our President who in at a DIPLMATIC summit, and one of our biggest allies is in a war. Sorry if we expected some manners, some respect and some seriousness from this man. Guess that was our mistake

His touching her in such a personal way, with no regards to how she is reacting shows a disconnect to the boundaries of people, the diplomatic arena, the understanding of different cultures (yeah, its what we texans do, and we don’t care if you find it uncouth)

It is much deeper than you want to see and shows what kind of man he is.

If Clinton had gone over and rubbed some ladies back, BELIEVE me, there would be those that would jump all over it

Bush has no class, and if you can in any way explaon his sweet little back rub, please do…you go around rubbing ladies backs, do ya?

Trust our type eh…you think the Germans have any respect for this man now, that the head of the UN wants to do Bush’s bidding when he has such disdain for the man…

You will defend this clown no matter what he does

We are talking about more than just the word )*^. We are talking about him being a representative of the USA and acting iike a dolt. But if that is good enough for you, guess your standards are kind of low.

When Clinton got his groove-on, his victims I mean employees did not have to worry about his hands on their backs more likely their fleshy parts, though, of course not excluding backs in the proper positions he was the boss, after all. The Man.

Does anyone seriously think the current Pres was coming on to Merkel, that little hottie? Trying to get her in the mood for a little sumpin sumpin? A hook-up? *World leaders with benefits/i.
Please.
You all have such dirty little minds.

Back a few years ago. the Dali Lama swung his long scarf around my grandmothers neck and pulled her right up tight in front of 2000 people you suppose he was hitting on her? Hadnt thought of that

No he wasn’t coming on to Merkel, but he showed no decorum or class.
FS it is the combination of a series of actions by Bush that are so odd…

If it was perhaps ONE of these actions, but it wasn’t it was a several incidences that together show us what this man is really like

But, don’t go there, heaven forbid…maybe he should just go round smackin bottoms like hes on the gridiron…bet the leaders of the free world would LOVE that…nothing sexual there

FS FS FS, lets focus on the pig…sounds small, sounds trite, but in the middle of a WAR, I would expect our fearless leader to be able to focus just a few minutes on it, if his dinner is more important, we are in serious #)(#

And the conversation arranging for diplomatic conversation, while making fun of a world leader…yeah we gots us some classy leadership, yo dude

I must be missing something here due to my recent absence. What’s up with the all the pig references? Is it some kind of Lil’ Abner thing where residents of Dogpatch roll off the couch, dust off the crumbs, and start posting on CC?

Can y0ou ever keep on subject? I am smarter than to play your games

Please tell me, did Bush show class and decorum by rubbing this woman’s back in publci when she was clearly not comforatble…if you think it was tasteful and appropriate at a meeting of world leaders deciding the fate of much of our lives for him to act that way, well, guess the world of international relations isnot for you. and please try not to bring in others who were also not refined in the art of poltics, if you can manage to stay on topic

and how obut the cute answers about his pork while being asked about a war that could in theory lead to a nuclear showdown…when is it not okay, in your mind, to fool around when the world is at a tipping point

CGM, when connecting the dots, why don’t rewind a bit farther than the next KOS-like blogs? For starters, you may read a few additional tidbits about the presidential visit to Merkel’s heimat, as accounted by the local press in Germany. With all the wild boars and pickled herrings coverage. Ah, the scandals!

I hope you could see the ridicule of attempting to elevate the improper “groping” to an international scandal, all the while exhibiting a self-rightgeousness that is quite foreign to your side of the political spectrum.

good thing he was having such a swell time on his vacation

It may seem trite, but to many, it is not

this situation is a nightmare in the middle east, and sure he answered some questions, but to even bring up the pig was just cold, not the time or the place

CGM,
Democracy will abide the now infamous…back touch. As it did calling out “the evil empire” (all protests aside, that one seems like a good call in retrospect); the oval office being used as a bordello; our president (the one with the sizzlin’ libido) becoming the oral sex joke of every comedy show on earth for a decade etc

Don’t cha think?

As to the Pork, I think your missing the real story here: what an affront to orthodox Jews and Muslims–eating the forbidden flesh on the world stag! Yikes!

Guess I jsut wish our President, was yale, educated, would have as much manners as my children did

They don’t talk with their mouths full, they don’t touch people that don’t want to be touched, they stay on topic, and when giving a report in class or to the student council, manage to stay on topic, and they don’t talk badly about other class leaders, especially when they need their help

And they respect the environment they are in. If they go to a meeting, they don’t go rubbing peoples back, they understand its an arena of manners, social rules, and each setting has its own decorum

Fooling around at a time such as this wouldm’t occur to them, they take things perhaps a biut more seriouslly then Mr. Bush does

…bet you’d give him a good go for grammar. There are those who say the Pres is a bit hard to understand. It must be clear to all who have ever spun their eyes around one of your posts: this president is a piker!

don’t ask how I know(yes, i was in germany) but when Merkel let’s just say attains a euphemism she always thows her little arms up into the air. it’s like a little hiccup. now if big bill had been doin the neck rubbin those arms woulda been flapping up hallelulahs like a penguin in a hot tub,…that man could rub a neck somethin special!

I wish my President had manners that at least were on par with my children.

Once again FS ignore the issue and criticize my typing. I will try and be as clear as you were yesterday with your post on one of the best songwriters to ever live.

nooo citygirlsmom don’t ever change. I think you are extending my life through laughter. Under your constant scolding there’s an irrepressible force that babbles forth like Pounce De Lion’s mighty mange. This world would be a lot emptier without your unique perspectives on everything in it,…
