Yo 'rents, I need your wise counsel

ha ha um no

I guess “official height” has him at 5’7 & a half!, but he doesn’t seem that tall to me-

Ok all you tall folks, where do you find clothes for tall skinny men? My son just finished his freshman year in college and he’s 6’3" and still growing. Right now I’m lucky to find pants for him that are 31 34 but they really should be a little longer. (yes, he is skinny - this summer I told him, he’s on an ice cream diet - 3 big meals a day and at least one big bowl of ice cream). The “big and tall” stores only have clothes for guys that are big and tall, none for skinny & tall. Thanks all.

Levis jeans/pants come in lengths
(I think eating more protein would maybe put more weight on than eating more sugar- although eating a pint of high fat ice cream doesn’t seem to do anything to my H- maybe I should buy it by the gallon)

oakland mom, give up on brick-and-mortar stores and order from Eddie Bauer or someplace similar online. EB has size 30 waist/36 inseam (also shorter, of course). The quality is fine, the styles and colors are basic.

oaklandmom–
LL Bean, Lands End and Eddie Bauer all carry tall sizes. The only problem we have with Beans is that their tall size shirts start at large, not medium, which might be too roomy for some of these tall skinny guys. GAP online also has tall sizes, and I think they even carry some jeans at a size 38 length. They are pricey, but usually have tall stuff in their sale section.
