You know what scares me?

raindrops on roses and blue satin sashes

nananaanannananananana

these are a few of my favorite things

brown paper packages tied up in string…

terrifying.

Burning to death while tied to a stake, fully conscious while smelling the scent of one’s own melting skin, screaming in unbearable agony, and finally asphyxiating in the black and acrid smoke of flesh scares me.

Eating an incorrectly prepared piece of fugu at a trendy Japanese restaurant, feeling one’s muscles seize up, losing control of one’s body, contracting and flailing wildly on the floor, choking air through half-dead lungs, and slowly and surely dying for lack of air that cannot be breathed also scares me.

wouldnt being burned not hurt as much after a few seconds since it will burn the sensory cells or something like that.

Yeah, but there sure are a lot of sensory cells…

Hmm. I suppose that death by fugu would be worse, for that reason and for the fact that the agony of death by fugu would be inexpressible. You wouldn’t be able to scream or to make any sound while writhing about on the floor, only to suffer unbelievable pain…

And yet people have died like this.
