Young Research Library

I like just about everything about the renovation, except for perhaps the the “changing exhibits” space near the circulation desk (the circular area surrounded by translucent panels and monitors). It reduces the area people have to wait in line at the desk (and when only one of the two doorways was open during the renovation, it was quite annoying). Maybe I’ll like it more when something is actually exhibited there and it appears to have a purpose.

Also, it’s good to see that the public computers have been restored to the first floor and that a UCLA logon is now required to access them. This should solve the problem of people not associated with UCLA hoarding them for long periods of time.
