Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

Nordstrom Rack extra 25% off sale - clear the rack. Anthropologie 40% off sale. Heading to the mall with D2

Ordered a cashmere wrap for only $44 (regulary $150) for next winter. (Macy’s)

Dang. My bus makes a stop under the Nordstrom/Macy’s/NR trifecta. Time to head out home!!!

Attention, shoppers! Today is Nordstrom’s Mascara Day. Add 3 mascaras to the shopping basket, and at checkout, the lowest priced one will be free.

Apple Watch Series 2 are $70 off at Best Buy during Memorial Day sale. Price matched at Target and saved an extra 5% using my Target debit Redcard. Still an expensive purchase but got it for my S17’s high school graduation gift.

If you belong to Costco and like Pinot Gris, they have A to Z on sale for 9.99, at least in VA. A friend who’s coming to visit me from VA in June was kind enough to text me to see if I wanted any. That’s a great deal - I’m getting 2 cases.

Just booked hotel rooms for me and 2 friends at San Diego, near convention center. The conference hotel rooms were going for upwards of $300-600/nite. I got rooms averaging slightly over $200/nite, including all taxes and fees with free mini-fridge and microwave as well as free yoga classes and 2 bottles of water/day provided. It’s a 0.5 mile 10 minute walk from hotel to convention center. They may further reduce our rate when I call tomorrow and ask the group sales person.

Just booked RT flight from Hartford to DC so we can visit S2 for his birthday and do some sightseeing. Only paid $128 for the ticket on Jetblue, certainly the least we’ve ever paid to go visit him. Of course, we kinda gamed the system by traveling from Thurs to Mon.

Today is getting near the last day of sale at National Allergy. You can buy allergy control barriers for folks allergic to dust and dust mites. It makes a world of difference. I’d recommend the all cotton covers rather than those that have a waterproof portion. They are more durable AND comfortable.

used $35 in free $ at Kohls. Plus 20% off. I still don’t like that place.

Me too, @jym626! I just got home from there. My H went and earned the cash, and I spent it along with the 20% off. I only go there now about twice a year.

Took DH there yesterday and got a pr of swim trunks and a shirt. Todaynin the mail came another $10 off but you have to spend $50. If we had waited til Monday we could have used it but who knew. And nope, not going to buy anything

I have $10 Macy’s rewards I need to use.

For Macy’s, you get an extra 15% off with code MEMORIAL, if that helps.

Bought PJs for $4, boys Calvin Klein 2 tshirts & pair of shorts set for $6, 3 lbs broccoli flowerettes for $4, pair of athletic shoes $20, all at Costco today. Of course I bought a few more things (Fuji Apples, sweet oranges, slippers) to round out the cart to nearly $100, but thought these were well-priced.

Attention shoppers. Saks Off 5th has some Longchamp bags 20% off. Some beige and red totes and some colorful backpacks. These almost never go in sale!

I finally bought a clothing item from Groupon. It arrived in 2 days, was a good price, and I really like it!

@Ohiomomof2, I have never pulled the plug on any clothing on groupon. Can you share what you got?
